DryKnit™ Waterproof Wool Blend Beanie with Brim – Fleece Lined Warm Winter Hat for Large Heads

I'm so glad I saw this hat! I love winter hats with a visor. This one has a nice fleece inside, waterproof lining and knotted top. Positive: everything including size, warmth, style, color, visor. I ordered M/L and it's perfect on me. I can even take all my long hair inside in a bun, ponytail or hairclip. Negative: because of the waterproof lining it sounds like a cheap waterproof sheet on your bed. You can tell that it's there, sometimes you can hear it a lot, sometime not at all. But the noise is there.

This hat is the SHIZZ. My head is practically going to cook when I wear it to the beach this winter--you pretty much have to wear a warm hat year-round on the Oregon coast. It's SUPER cute, though I don't know that I'd classify the brim as "exquisite"? (What's up with that?) The outer wool is very soft, and, if that's not enough, there's a soft inner fleece layer. I can't wait to see if it truly is waterproof. I like my beanies BIG and STRETCHY so I got the larger size and am glad I did, as it fits PERFECTLY. But I've saved the best part for last: the bottom knitted "roll" effectively gives it little ear flaps that don't actually look like Elmer Fudd ear flaps. It's big enough on me that I can pull it down without extending that little roll, but I anticipate windy days on the beach where I'll be glad of its functionality. Wish it came in more fun colors, but these will go with most anything. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

I love that the TOP-EX Waterproof Merino Wool Fleece Lined Brim Beanie comes in an XL to XXL size, which is what I ordered, in Grey_584. The beanie is very warm and comfortable thanks to the fleece lining, and the grey color looks just like the photos. The beanie is well made and looks durable. One of the reasons why I ordered this beanie is because it has a unique brim, which seemed like a cool design detail. This is definitely a subjective opinion, but that brim I liked so much on the website is the thing I like least about it in person. While I like the idea of the brim, for whatever reason, I don't like the way it looks on. It seems to short and too curved somehow. Still, there's no denying the quality of the beanie. Maybe you will like the brim more than I did.
