Liam Dockside Merino Wool Beanie – 100% Soft, Warm & Breathable Winter Cap

I have a larger than average head, wearing a 7 5/8 hat size. I often find that the one-size-fits-all really means one-size-fits-most-just-not-me. I was really pleased to find this wool beanie hat in a size actually larger than I need, and love that it’s 100% Merino Wool. Natural wool is a wonderful material that will keep me warm and dry, and the Merino wool is exceptionally soft. The fit was perfect for me. I can roll up the cuffs to get a fitted look, but it’s still large enough to cover my ears if I want and stays put on my head. I could also wear it in a looser fashion, and that too is comfortable and stays on my head. The red color that I ordered is attractive, between a bright red and a deep maroon. I have an upcoming trip to Norway in a few weeks and I’m sure this will keep me warm. I can wholeheartedly recommend this XL/XXL 100% Merino Wool Beanie Hat!

This knit hat is very soft and comfortable to wear. Not sure it's sile XL/XXL but it's probably a size L/XL. The wool isn't too bulky, so can probably wear under my snowboard helmet. Look forward to using it this fall winter on the slopes!

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It keeps his head warm and merino wool is soft and it��s not itchy. Easy to wash.

Merrino wool is the best. Other wool types make my bald head itch within seconds of putting it on. I can wear this hat all day.

I love this hat. I held off of this review until I had it and wore it for a while. I am quite sensitive to textures and don't do well with generic wool. However, this feels great. The only issue I have with it is that it is difficult to get an even fold all the way around at the bottom. But that could well be operator error.

Warm 100% Wool Beanie. I like the Fit of the hat, it has a triple fold on the beanie and sometime the 3rd fold does not stay folded.. might be better as a double fold, or sewn together don��t doesn��t unfold.

Best beanie you can have, Much more effective than cotton ones. Just don't wash/ dry it.

This is a really comfortable winter hat. The Merrino wool makes a difference. It fits comfortably. It doesn't ride up off your ears or causes you to feel itchy like those synthetic thicker winter hats do. You can wear it one of two ways. Which is nice for whatever fits your style and comfort. I have a fitted hat size of 7 5/8, so it's always a struggle to find good headwear (ONE size does NOT fit all), but my new TOP-EX XL/XXL 100% Merino Wool Short Fisherman Beanie Hat fits wonderfully !!!

If anything it might be a little big, but I'd much rather have it a little big than a little small.
I have it on right now and am gonna buy a few more colors for my noggin' :)

It's short-fisherman type beanie. Exactly what we wanted so if you want to cover your head and ears, this is not what you're looking for.

My fitted hat size is 7 5/8th and always struggle when trying to find fisherman style beanies cause they always look tiny on the big dome. The XL variety of this beanie is super nice and fits perfect right above the ears.

I wear a 7 1/4 size hat and the m/lrg was too tight. Get the larger size. Nice material.

I got the XL/XXL size, and it fits my average size head very tight.
It does fit my 3 y/o nephew very nicely, so not a total loss.
I'm not sure if it was mislabeled or mis-packaged, but would definitely wear this if it fit better.

Very nice, good quality wool hat, it did fit me well, but the color I received was a much brighter red than I was expecting, so I decided to give this to my niece and nephew, one of them will be much happier to wear it than myself. Also, it's not very thick, but I didn't need it to be for my purposes.

There is nothing like merino wool. It is light, warm, soft, and moisture wicking. Even merino blends are great but a 100% merino wool anything is a treasure to be snapped up and this particular item is no exception.

I have quite a few beanies, being folliclely challenged, and nothing works better for me on a cold winter morning, or afternoon, or night, or whenever, than a wool beanie.

This particular item is listed as ��a short, fisherman beanie��, and it is, at first, a little shorter than expected. But, I dunno, on subsequent occasions, it feels better and better and I like the fit more and more. It is not a tight beanie at all and you can pull it down, if you like.

I am finding it very comfortable and, not that we��ve had much in the way of chilly days or nights, yet, I��m pretty confident that when it does get cold, I��ll have a nice, warm, mitten on my head. On that basis I am recommending this Top-Ex merino wool beanie.
