The hat feels high quality. It is very warm and the inside lining feels nice. Regarding the sizing, I wear a 7 7/8" hat normally, the XXL size here is very tight. I don't know if it will stretch out over time. Just a warning to the people with large heads. Overall, good hat.

This hat fits a rather large head, as requested. The Merino wool is warm and stays warm, even if it becomes wet. The poly lining helps block harsh winds. The ear cover is double wool, though I would like it to be extra lined, as well, but that's me. Thank you

Great hat with a warm lining. Doesn��t take up too much space while maintaining a good enough thickness to keep you warm. Does not mess with my earbuds like some of the other hats I tried

Very nice quality. The hat fits me well. I'm an average/lg sized woman. I had hoped it would fit my husband who needs an x-lg. The hat is very stretchy and does mostly fit him, but is a little short top to bottom. I wish there was a true x-lg hat available. However, I'm keeping this one for me!

This hat is designed and constructed well, and made of thick, soft, warm knitted material. It��s stylish and practical. The L/XL size stretches to fit larger heads, yet it��s not too loose, and it covers the ears and back of the head. It can be left a little high or pulled down for a snugger fit. It��s one of the best winter hats for men we��ve found!

L/xl ordered fits my big head very well. Hat is warm and covers my ears. Have not tested for water proof yet.

The material is fine. However I ordered an
X-Large and it was smaller that a regular one size fits most. Very disappointed.

Used this beanie in temps below 23��F. The ear flaps didn��t over or underperform they kept my ears warm at a perfect temp as I walked around in the wind and snow. Quality feels good and fit was perfect, beanie did a perfect job.
