I am so glad I got this hat! I hesitated at first because I would have preferred a removable neck flap, but after putting it on in person, it looks great and doesn't look overwhelming, all while proving the right amount of coverage for the neck. All the things I love about the hat is in the product description: Folds flat! I included a video, but basically you just turn the hat inside out and then hold it right down the middle. The back tucks in nicely. I love that it has reinforced stitching at the fold. (as shown in pic.) Sunglass holder spot - how thoughtful is that!! Reflective strips on the back - again, not overwhelming, but just enough that when you shine a light on it, it shows. (See pic.) Removable chin straps - chin straps are a must, but love that I can style the hat without. Material is lightweight but still feel 100% protected - It's NOT thin, but it's light weight. This is going to be a staple in my bag ALL summer and all my future fishing trip & vacation trips. Sizing is pretty accurate. As a female, I have a large head. This fits well with a little bit of breathing room and adjustable cords for me to tighten it if needed. I measured my head prior to ordering and used their guide, so I suggest you to use the same. 100% would recommend this for anyone looking for a little more sun protection and having to put on a little less sunscreen.

Good hat for working in the sun like my grandson does. He is outside painting every day and this will protect him from burning. Got it just in time for the summer heat. He likes the way it looks too.

I bought this had for my husband, but I took a guess on the size. He liked the hat since he often is sunburned on the back of his neck and this would prevent that. When he tried it on, I found it was too large. However, I did discover, that with the drawstring, you can pull the hat band tighter. Although it alters the look a bit, it is still very wearable. I have not tried to clean/wash the hat as yet, so I don't know how it will hold up to cleaning.

This hat will work well for when I am working out in the yard in the southwest desert. The material is thin and light which help keeping me cool in our 110 degree heat. The neck shade will keep me from getting sunburned. The hat has a soft flexible rim material versus a the traditional stiff/firm material. I would prefer more of a stiff/firm material build. I like the adjustable head strap.

Bought this for my son for a birthday gift because he is always outside gardening and cutting the grass. He loves the shade that he gets from his hat and that it covers his neck.

I'm cursed with one of those abnormally large skulls (sadly it doesn't seem to hold much of value despite its size). "One size fits all" is of course laughable. Sizes marked M/L just mean I've bought myself a "sun yamaka". And something marked "large" or even "extra large" means an all day headache.
But these hats are actually big enough! The had design is very similar to a Sunday Afternoons design that I've liked in the past, but Sunday Afternoons doesn't make large sizes and actually their brim sizes have gotten small in my opinion. This incarnation sports an appropriately large brim, a good neck cover, and a not too dark color. Importantly it folds down flat for easy storage and yet has an appropriately rigid brim when unfolded and worn.
Weaknesses are that it should be an even lighter color in my opinion and the cinch strap stitching is weak.
It is a sun hat, so, duh, make it a light color to reflect solar load. I don't know why this is hard to understand. So many dark colored sun hats out there. Why would I want a space heater on my head on a hot day? Anyway, this hat is about as light as you can expect to find in the market these days, but it should be even lighter.
The cinch strap to hold your hat on in the wind actually does work quite well in the wind. On one of mine it came detached fairly quickly in normal use. This appears to have been down to insufficient stitching - which can be tricky on a narrow somewhat stretchy cord. I'm perfectly capable of stitching it back on and so I'm not upset by this at all, but I know some folks would find it potentially annoying so I'm mentioning it.
I've ordered a bunch of these to live various places (in each vehicle, in various items of luggage) for when I've forgotten to bring my larger, less portable sun hat. My complexion really needs a sun hat and so I'm overjoyed to have finally found a compact, inexpensive solution that actually fits my too big head!

Wonderful hat to protect you for the heat. Size is great for any head, works well for big heads. Nice quality!

I like this cap it keeps the sun off of my head and neck. Just place the cap and and adjust the cap string to secure cap to your head. Nice and big, I just wish it had a screen to keep the Florida gnats away from my face. I should have purchased this a long time ago

... head. That statement should be self-evident, IE: if you're going to make a hat, it should fit the human head. Unfortunately, a lot of hat makers do not seem to grasp this concept, producing instead strangely shaped pieces of cloth that sit atop ones noggin like a coonskin cap with a still-alive raccoon.
TOP-EX is not that way. Their hats, praise be, actually fit, and if you happen to have a plus-size melon, they make hats that fit that too.
Always quality, nice price, great fit. No complaints.

If you have a larger sized head like me, you know how tough it can be to find hats that fit, especially specialty hats like this one.
If you enjoy time out on the beach, fishing, or on a boat, you know how important it is to keep the sun off of your face, ears, and neck. You need something lightweight, but something that won't be blown around when the wind picks up. This is the perfect hat for you.
This hat is very well designed. It is very roomy, but also very adjustable. They've done a good job of providing a modest size range within each designated hat size that gives a bit of room to expand or tighten, but not so much that it will be baggy or have to be cinched up too tightly. That keeps the hat looking its best, no matter how you prefer your fit.
I like the color as well. I've worn expensive versions of this type of hat, and for my money and use, there's no reason to spend 3 times the money for a hat that works as well and feels as good as the big names.

I have to admit, this isn't the most stylish hat, but it does an important job of keeping the sun off my bald head, ears and neck. I hate sunscreen and spend a lot of time outdoors whether it's for yard work, the beach or boating. Other wide brim UPF hats I've worn have floppy brims which is ok for non-windy conditions, but when the brim gets folded back, it isn't keeping the sun off. This hat has a stiffened brim, like a visor in front and long, loose hanging flaps around the sides and back. The wind doesn't affect the brim or flaps at all.
The only questionable feature is how waterproof the hat is. I don't doubt that the material is water resistant, but there are mesh vent panels that can let water through.
This is worth having if you don't mind looking functional but not stylish.

Thank you, TOP-EX, for the best sun this fair-skinned Irishman has ever owned. This ultra-light floppy hat has and does it all. Use the size chart and you can get a perfect fit with the adjustable head band. There is also a REMOVEABLE chin strap. How great is that! (I don't always need a chin strap.) Plus, a place to hold my sunglasses.
This hat is well-made. The wide brim is sturdy, and together with the generous neck flap, all my sun sensitive spots are covered. It is also well vented, so I don't get too hot under the hat. Great sun hat and a great value.

I wear a US hat size 7.5. Based on my experience with this brand, I ordered the size M/L and it fits me comfortably. I've ordered size XL from this brand in the past and that was too big. I love that this brand makes hats in different sizes since one-size sports hats are usually not big enough for larger heads.
This hat is made from a lightweight breathable fabric that works great in hot sunny weather. Large rear tail completely covers my neck down to my shirt collar. The sides and front do a good job of protecting my ears and face. This hat would work great for hiking or fishing or other summer outdoor activities.
No complaints about quality and the $20 price is reasonable for what you get. 5 stars.

This hat is pretty nice... the quality is okay. It doesn't hold it's form when laid down and you almost have to form it every time you put it on. I am a "hat guy" and fish quite a bit.... so wanted something that keeps the sun off of my bald head. This works and for the most part... it is comfortable to wear... and it definitely keeps the sun off my head and neck.
I have a pretty big head (I am a big guy...not fat.... and have a bigger head).... so I ordered the XL-XXL size (and didn't follow the chart).... because almost every had that says L-XL is way too small. Well, I was wrong... I should have ordered that size. The XL-XXL hat I got is too big. I am going to wash and dry it on high heat and hope it shrinks a little.
It's a nice hat... quality is okay... and a good value at $20. Just make sure to follow the sizes they recommend. ( Oh and I am 6'0 tall and weigh 280lbs.... if that helps)
