I adore this beanie! The wool is very soft, with no itchy or scratchy feeling. The fleece lining is also smooth and cozy, and provides plenty of warmth. The cuff is not tacked down, so it is easy to adjust the fold so my ears are completely covered. The "navy" option is a lovely, bright navy blue color. As for sizing, the "Large-X-Large" comfortably fits both myself (average-sized adult female head; standard "one size" women's hats and ballcaps fit me fine, see my pics), and my proportionally sized 6' 3 husband (obviously, we have to adjust the cuff for our different-sized heads). I am happy with this incredibly comfortable hat, and would definitely not hesitate to order again from this brand.

I like this stocking cap quite a bit! It fits my large head well! As someone with a large head, I am still amazed by Top-Ex. I wear a fitted baseball cap that is 7 3/4, so I'd say this is the perfect size for a big head like mine! It's a lot larger than any stocking cap I have ever purchased locally. All the other stocking caps I own don't go over my ears completely, and they are so tight on my head that my head gets sore and my hair tends to get ripped out. This one easily goes over my ears and I wore it for half an hour in 74 degree temperature without getting overheated.When I removed it from my head, my hair was a little crazy, but I don't think it got ripped out. It is not what I consider to be a typical navy blue (dark blue with low saturation and a slight green tint). It doesn't look purple at all either, and it's blue enough that it cannot be confused for black. This looks like an expensive product and the navy blue coloring is highly saturated.

Very high quality beanie. Quite warm. It's pretty heavy and feels well made, I suspect it will last a long time. The merino lets it breathe. I have a moderately large noggin and it fits a bit tight, I think I should have gone a size up.

I got this for my son who has a large head and short hair in the L-XL in black. He has trouble finding warm winter caps that fit him so I had high hopes for this one. I was right - it fits him and keeps his head warm! The combination of the merino wool and recycled polyester provide the warmth he needs and the L-XL size fits beautifully. He really likes the comfort of the lining and the softness of the merino wool. The hat covers his head without being too tight or stretched thin. I will wash it on delicate in a net bag with a wool wash when needed. I cannot recommend this hat enough - for the eco-friendly materials it is made of, for the size large enough to fit a bigger head and for the warmth of the hat. This is definitely worth getting as a hat of this quality will last you for years to come and fit you too!

The outer knit part of the beanie is perfect for my husband's head size. However, the inner fleece lining is snug and will likely shrink when washed, as often happens. This leads to it feeling a bit too small and uncomfortable.
Otherwise it is a good hat with quality assembly. If you have a bigger head and often struggle to find a good size, this isn't likely the hat for you. But if your head is just slightly above average, it might be ok.

I really like that this brand offers multiple sizes of beanie. It is too often that that one-size-fits-all beanies are either way too big or way too small for my head.
This beanie is fairly snug, but man is it warm. The lining they use is really nice and does a fantastic job of keeping heat in. Just after a few minutes of trying it on my head was starting to get too hot, so I'm confidant that I will be kept nice and warm during this winter!

It can be easily stuffed into a jacket pocket or day pack or even purse for that extra layer when bad weather comes up.

Very nice hat. Looking forward to adding this to my winter camping gear out. Fits comfortably, good weight, feels soft, and is warm. I got pretty hot just wearing it for a few minutes indoors. Colder weather is coming so will get the ultimate test, but from the feel, texture, and looks, this is a very nice hat and I have full confidence it is just as warm as it is comfortable and good looking.

It��s not hat season yet in my state but it will be soon and I��ll be ready with this hat. My head is about 23�� around and this fits great. It feels warm and soft. The navy color is a nice rich blue. This is officially the nicest knit hat I own now.
