This is an excellent quality wool beanie! The fleece lining inside is super soft and comfy. I love the brim design to keep snowflakes out of my face. The XL size fits great over my hair, especially for when I have a messy bun. Excellent value for this hat with how well it's made and quality soft wool!

This review is for the “ TOP-EX L/XL/XXL 50% Merino Wool Brim Beanie with Ear Flaps Fleece Lined - Waterproof & Windproof - Stylish Unisex” This is my third hat from Top-EX. They just know how to make great beanies. This is perfect, I wore it golfing yesterday. The sun was shining but the wind was blustery. My head was protected. The velvety inside is buttery soft. The merino wool mix outside keeps the cold out and does not let the wind through. You can pull the ear flaps up or down. The visor is large, I used to wear a beanie over a baseball cap and had to adjust them a hundred times - no more!!! This hat is perfect! I wish they would make some colorful ones too. Worth the $24! Best hat ever!

It looks exactly like the product pictured. It has good stitching. So I figure first I'll list the things that I think could be improved upon: 1.) The brim is sort of floating, its hard to set it in place because the front of the hat is so supple. Not a dealbreaker as it still mostly keeps snow off your face. 2.) That layer just above the brim is comprised of two layers, which are just folded in. That folded in section likes to come out all the time, and it looks pretty dumb when it does. Seems a couple stitches on the inside, or bar tacks, could prevent this. 3.) Though the hat is very nice and warm on everything it covers, what it doesn't seem to cover on my gigantic head is the very back of my skull, just at the base. I can pull it down but it seems like it rides up a bit. In my instance, I can just pull my hoody over the hat, which is what i do since I need the double protection anyway. 4.) It kinda looks dorky, squarish in weird spots. So just a couple negatives, now lets list the positives: 1.) Other than the back bottom, the hat is VERY warm. Not overly hot, though. 2.) This hat is SUPER comfortable. Most hats that are one size fits all, or even XL tend to smash their pattern into my scalp. I take off those hats at the end of the day and it still looks like I have them on. THIS hat, however, I wear all day (8 hours about) with my hoody over it(to protect the back of my neck) and take it off, and I have not a single mark on my head. The hat covers my head and my ears completely but not annoying tight. It also doesn't give me a pressure or tension headache from smashing my head all day. This is the hat I've been wearing since I got it. Even with the negatives I still love this thing. Mostly for its comfort.

I purchased the green Medium to large Beanie. I consider myself to have an average head and the beanie fit loose. The inside was soft and comfortable. The ear flaps had a slight curl up at the bottom. I feel the true test will be during our ��lake effect�� winters! Compared to several of my similar hats this was very flimsy and light weight. Let��s hope the Merino wool does its job?

This is about the nicest winter hat I've ever owned!! The exterior is merino wool, and the interior fleece lined. Brimmed like a baseball cap to keep the snow and sun out of your eyes, and ear flaps to cover your entire ear from the wind and cold. Nice big size with a little extra room lends additional comfort. Keeps your entire head nice and warm!! And with a waterproof layer, it keeps your head dry from any accumulated and melting snow for those days when you're out in the weather! At a price point less than $30 this is an absolutely steal and a must have for your winter wardrobe.

I don't give out 5-stars on every item I review but I definitely think this one deserves the 5 star rating. It somehow fits my head perfectly. I guess I have a sort of awkward shaped head, it's definitely a bit on the bigger side, so finding hats, beanies, etc that fit me have always been a pain. I don't know my exact measurements but I usually buy L-XL hats/beanies. I went with the XL-XXL on this one thinking it might be too big but it's actually SO perfect. Is this what beanies are supposed to feel like on my head?! It's so comfortable. It looks great too. I thought it would look a little goofy but no. The price is reasonable, the fit is amazing, and it looks great, so I'm finding very little to complain about here. Oh I guess I can complain about the seller's use of AI to market their item. But it doesn't really matter much in this case because the images do actually accurately represent the hat.

Being a bald guy in SoCal, I feel each degree that that the temp drops. I need something that will keep my head warm when I'm out my kids soccer practices and games during the winter. This hat will do the trick.

It is very warm, well made and soft, which is important for a bald guy. I love that it cover my ears too and reaches low on my neck. Now it's not the most stylish hat, but if my choices are to look "cute" or to look and be warm during the winter...I'm choosing to look and be warm!

I live in MN, so it gets pretty cold here. This hat feels nice and warm and has a good amount of filling. The inside is quite fuzzy and warm feeling and I found it to be very comfortable to wear. The ear flats fit well over my ears and fit snuggly so there's no place for cold air to come in. The only confusing thing I have is with how the material goes up from the ear flaps and around the hat. It can fold down, so it's not attached at the top (just the bottom edge), but I see no reason for it to do that. Evidently it's just a design thing and while I guess it could add some warm around the hat, it seems strange to me that it's just there and loose. Overall I really like the hat and expect it to keep my head warm this winter.

I��m a person that wears a hat year around so I look for quality hats because I��ll probably be wearing it the whole winter.

This hat fits me perfectly which I was worried I got a couple others that were either to small or were to big that it fell over my eyes. This hat fits me great.

It��s lined on the inside with a soft fabric and the hat is waterproof! Not that I plan on going out in the rain but this will prevent it from getting wet when it snows.

For sure my head will stay warm this winter

-Very comfortable to wear
-Feels pretty thick so should be quite warm during those cold winter days
-Multiple color choices was nice; went with the black to match anything
-Fit is perfect; ear flaps cover the ears very well, comes down a tab far over the forehead but can adjust that so it is not so bad
-Love that it has a brim which keeps the glasses clean then
-Says hand wash only for cleaning and would not risk putting in washer/dryer
-Winter hasn't arrived yet but hopefully it does a good job keeping the head and ears warm
-Overall very nice and look forward to wearing it out

Winter's just around the corner and I'm ready for it with this very comfortable hat. Having a brim will help keep snow out of the face and the ear flaps cover everything right down to the end of the lobe. The merino wool is soft and the interior has a felt-like material to further protect you from any moisture that may wick up. You may want to consider ordering one size up as I underestimated the size of my noggin. It still accommodated my pumpkin sized head but wish I went bigger and that's on me not the manufacturer. This is hard to review at this point because it isn't cold enough to wear this yet. I have no idea how warm it will be. The hat fits me, but the flaps ends at the bottom of my ear lobes, so I don't know if they will keep my ears warm enough. However, there is fold that will cover the neck and below the ear lobes. The brim will keep it from going down over one's eyes. All in all, I think this will be a great hat to wear during the winter. I just wish it was cold enough to test it thoroughly.

This is a really well done cap for cold weather. Constructed like a toboggan or beanie yet with a brim, this cap reminds me of a really warm ball cap with earmuffs! Although I have not tested it in wet conditions, this hat claims to be waterproof. If that claim is not correct, I will return and amend my review. Blocking out wind, the material of this hat is also breathable. This cap reminds me of a fatigue cap on steroids and takes full advantage of the latest technological fabric advances. The fit is comfortable without squeezing your head. There is a lot of bang for the buck with this hat.

This is a good cold weather hat. I use it all winter for ice fishing. I like the extra large as it will fit fat heads. Has a good bill to keep snow/rain off the glasses.

Just what I was looking for. It keeps your had dry from snow.
It's very comfortable and you can roll it up and put it in your jacket pocket. They ear flaps are handy and can be fold into the cap. Like a watch cay but has a bill.
