Nice, cozy hat!

This is a nice cold weather cap! It is well-made with neatly stitched seams. The knit material and lining are soft to the touch and comfortable to wear, not itchy at all. I really like how it comes down over your ears without feeling like it's constantly crawling back up your head like traditional stocking caps. You can fold the band down to cover the back of your neck, as well. The brim is sturdy, not floppy or feeling like it's made out of a cut up file folder. In my opinion, this hat is worth the price.

Perfect Beanie for Any Adventure!

I bought this DryKnit beanie for a camping trip, and it’s hands-down the best winter hat I’ve owned. The Merino wool keeps me warm without overheating, and the fleece lining is so soft. It stayed dry through morning frost and even a light drizzle. The brim gives it a sleek look, and it’s unisex, so my son loves It.

Cute, comfy, fits over claw clip!!!!

Have not tried in cold weather yet but fit and construction is good. Only flaw is the leather brand tag pulls the knit cuff a little and makes it uneven on the front. It would be an easy fix for the company I think. I walk to work in winter and am excited to have the brim and the supposed weatherproof finish. The beanie sizing is also generous enough that I tried it on with a hair clip in and it still covered my ears which is rad, but loose enough to layer an ear band or scarf under in super cold conditions. Looking forward to using it!! Would also dig a version with a ponytail hole on top!

Very functional for big heads

I was quite taken aback by this hat! Growing up in the PNW, we experience hot, dry summers followed by cold, wet weather. Usually, I steer clear of hats because my head is quite large, and they often don’t fit well. But this time, I went with the extra-large size, and I’m really enjoying the comfort. When I wear it, it keeps me warm but breathable, so I can wear it indoors on chilly mornings or evenings, even in the early fall. I also appreciate the brim on the beanie, which helps keep rain or snow off my glasses. Plus, it provides good ear coverage, which is one of the first areas to get cold. I also like the style of the beanie; it looks well made and practical. My wife even thought it would be a great choice for people who have lost their hair due to cancer. Needless to say, it sparked conversations about gifting one to a family friend.

Amazing quality, functional and very useful in the winter.

I love this hat. Having a brim on a beanie used to be the style in the early 2000's and its been hard to find these for last decade. Glad that someone realized how useful this design is. I work outside in the Reno/Tahoe area and having a visor on my beanie is a must. You can keep the snow and sun out of your eyes at the same time as staying warm. This design is very functional and useful if you are outside in the winter. This is really built well. It's so much thicker than I had hoped and it's actually really amazing. I have no doubt this is going to keep me warm. Being made with Merino Wool it will retain heat even if it gets wet. It's also fleece lined making it have a great feel and weight to it. I am really happy with this hat. Its beyond anything that I had hoped it would be. Easy five star. This is one of the thickest beanies I own and having a brim on it makes it functional and very useful working or enjoying winter weather. One of the better made hats that I have had the pleasure of owning.

Highly recommended

This hat is very comfortable. It fit me perfectly and I have long hair so it fit my ponytail perfectly without pulling or binding. The green was perfect too. It’s great for late fall and winter.

Appears to be a nice hat but I do wish it came in a smaller size.

Great hat!

This hat will have you looking stylish while keeping you warm and dry. This fleece lined hat is very comfortable and fits well. It's a quality-made, sturdy hat that also is waterproof, so you don't have to worry about getting caught in the rain. A great value in a good-looking hat!

Perfect for big noggins!

My husband works outdoors in the wintertime and it often drizzles or rains here in the PNW so this hat is going to be great for him! It's nice and cozy and keeps you warm, while the brim helps shade the eyes when it's sunny and keep the rain out of your face so you can actually see what you're doing. Additionally, my husband has a large head and this actually fits him without stretching out which is super nice!

Warm, Roomy, and Made to Last

This is a nice winter hat with plenty of space in the XL size. Even for my big melon, theres more room than I need, but it doesnt necessarily look oversized, which I appreciate. It feels well made too, though it shed like crazy before washingso keep that in mind. After washing and drying, it looked and fit just as well as it did straight out of the package, which is great.

Ive never owned a stocking cap with a bill on it, but Im a hat guy, so I like the look. Theres plenty of coverage for my ears, and with how thick this is, I have no doubt itll be warm enough for even the coldest Minnesota winter temperatures.

At first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but now that I have it, I dont think its too bad. It should last several winters, so I imagine youll get your moneys worth. Im pleased with it, and if you like the look, I see no reason you wouldnt be too. Buy with confidence.

The fabric is soft. It seems to be double or triple layered.

I wear a 7.5 hat, that's very big. The XL-XXL version of this is large on me, even when pulled down over my ears. Not too large, but it fits loosely, when I'm used to beanies being tight on me.

The fabric is soft. It seems to be double or triple layered.
I'm taking off one star for the inner layer. It has a very slight crunching noise when you squeeze it. I cant hear it when I'm wearing it, but it's a thing.

Feels nice and warm

I like it and its much better than what I was expecting. Its nice and soft and looks really nice. Having the sunshade on it is nice and different from what Ive seen and used in the past. Overall I like it and when friends asked about it I told them where to get it!

Warm, comfortable, and practical winter hat

Im picky when it comes to wool because I cant stand scratchiness, but the merino blend here is soft and comfortable. The fleece lining only adds to the comfort and warmth, which is exactly what I want when temperatures dip.

The fit strikes the right balance: snug enough to stay in place, but not so tight that it leaves marks or feels like a clamp on my head. The small brim is a nice design choice. It doesnt block out everything, but it does help deflect falling snowflakes and a bit of glare without looking oversized or awkward.

As someone who loathes cold weather, I stockpile anything that makes winter even slightly more bearable. This hat does the job well. Between the materials, the thoughtful design, and the overall warmth, I expect to reach for it often throughout the winter. Its a solid option for anyone who needs dependable protection against the cold.

Premium quality hat with great features!

This is a super well made winter hat with some great features. First off, the 50% merino wool makes the hat feel super soft and durable. The brim is very thick and rigid, unlike some other cheaper quality hats that use cardboard and break apart over time. The polyester lining is soft and warm. But the best feature has to be the waterproof layer. So even after a day of playing in the snow or rain, your head will stay warm and dry. The only thing to consider is that at the time, the only two sizes were M-L and XL-XXL. I got the M-L and although I do have a larger head, the hat was still slightly too big and slouchy. If you have a larger head, lots of hair, or like slouchy winter hats, then the M-L size might be perfect for you. But considering how well this is made, I am not complaining about it being slightly large. Plus, in the cold winter snow and rain, I'd rather be warm and dry with a slightly larger hat with more coverage than with a smaller one.

Finally, a Hat That Doesnt Punish Me for Having a Large, Sexy Cranium

This beanie is buttery soft, deliciously warm, and built for big heads and big ambitions. The "DryKnit" merino wool blend feels luxe without being fussy, and the fleece lining? A hug for your scalp. No itching, no slipping, no awkward forehead dents, just solid, comfortable coverage.

The little visor? Absolute genius. Keeps the sun out when its rude and the snow out when its vengeful. It's the kind of hat that says, Yes, I shovel snow and look hot doing it.

Final Word:
If youve ever had a hat scream for mercy as you tried to stretch it over your dome, this is your redemption arc. Cozy, roomy, and weather-ready. Ten outta ten, would wear into a snowstorm and emerge victorious.
