Madeline Women's Waterproof Sun Hat

I ordered this hat for working outside during the summer. I usually wear a lot of sunscreen, but this will help protect my skin from the sun when I don't feel like applying sunscreen. The fabric feels very soft and silky, but sturdy at the same time. I love that it has a slit for your ponytail so I can keep my hair up off of my neck while I wear it. The only thing I don't like is that the front brim is two separate pieces with a seam in the middle, so it naturally wants to fold into a slight V shape. I'd prefer if the brim was one piece so it would sit a little flatter across my forehead. Overall, I think I will enjoy wearing this hat while I'm doing yard work!

I like this hat pretty well, the ponytail hole is nice, and you can tighten it on your head. The wind doesn’t blow blow it off a bit though

Bought it for my wife and she loves it. She gave all sorts of excuses to go walking but when she received this hat she'swilling to go with me. This hat protects her face from the sun and also her back, not to mention good looking hat to make her feel as she's wearing a fashion hat while out walking.....lol!

I also love that it will be easy to store with the rest of my gardening gear in the winter. This is a ponytail hat that I needed for walking on my walking tract. It is very good quality and I got the dark grey which is a beautiful, classy color. It does have an adjustable cord that fits under the chin. The cord is removable with small clips. The only issue is the depth of the hat. It feels like it would blow off your head if it were windy, therefore the adjustable cord would come in handy to hold it in place. The depth of hat is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Really enjoyed wearing this hat! I like how it has a little ponytail hole and slits to allow for your sunglasses to securely sit on your head. It really makes me feel like I'm on an adventure every time I wear it. The portion that protects your neck from the sun is a real game changer.

Only docked it a star because I'm not sure if there was a mix up on the hat sizing but the L/XL that I ordered fit more like a small (and I would know because I have a small head). My husband (who has an above average sized head) would not be able to fit it.

I have a big head. I also have thick hair which is shoulder length. The result of this is that I can NEVER find a hat that fits - until this one! Oh joy of joys! And it not only fits - it looks nice too! I really appreciate the coverage offered for protection from the sun (I will be wearing this all summer as I burn in about 5 minutes!). In addition - the bungee cord that is available to adjust the hat is great if you need to change the size of it. Between the pony tail opening and the low price, I will be buying the gray one too. Definitely a winner!

First I want to say- I hate hats. I usually only wear a hat for sporting events or sun protection. I hate the itchy feeling of hats on my forehead.

I ordered this hat to wear on campouts. I'm currently using a few things on my face that make me more sensitive to the sun- Vitamin C and tretinoin. I do wear sunblock daily, but my skin care routine somewhat falters during campouts. I'm an adult leader with a scout troop so a lot of my time is spent supervising. While camping is relaxing for me, most of our trips aren't the most leisurely.

I like this hat because it has a hole for a ponytail. Most sun hats do not have this. It's a great feature for me.
I like this hat because it's not as form fitting as a baseball cap so my forehead isn't itching the entire time.
I like the thin breathable material.
The hat fits me well, I ordered a S/M.
The brim is big and it seems to give my face more shade compared to a baseball cap.

I got this specifically for the ponytail hole and neck coverage. I have regular ponytail hats, but then my neck gets exposed to the sun, so this hat is perfect for my needs. There��s a spot to put your sunglasses. And there��s a removable hat strap. I like the full coverage of this hat, and look forward to using. Happy with product.

This hat is much cooler in person. The size is adult size. Finally one that fits comfortably! Looks good and fits well. Love the color and style. Seems well made. Can't wait to wear it out!

The neck protection, coupled with the ponytail hole, is helpful, since I usually forget to get enough sunscreen on the back of my neck, yet always want to put my hair in a pony while hiking. The simple sunglasses lock are slits that accommodate fairly wide ear pieces, and works by using the natural tautness of the fabric to hold glasses in place. It rolls up easily, because the fabric is soft and flexible, which also makes it comfortable to wear.

This hat comes with a larger cap bill and comfortable shrouding to cover the ears and neck. Lightweight and should be cool in summer. It also comes with an sdjustable string to hold the hat on when it's windy. And you don't need a ponytail to wear this - the hole for the ponytail is small and not noticeable if not used. The hat would have gotten 5 stars from me as it deserves a "5" as a product. But the bill of the cap was folded to fit into a tiny plastic bag for shipping, and the bend crease in the cap bill seems like it is permanent and off center. So the bill bends strangely off center. So I gave it a "4". NOTE to seller - please package and ship this hat without bending the cap bill.

It is difficult to find hats for someone with a larger size head. This sun hat fits great. Out of the package it looked good. It did not get bent out of shape. I washed it in a net bag and laid it out to air dry. It kept its shape. It offers great coverage for optimal sun protection.
