This hat is great for damp environments! It does what it claims in keeping you dry. It's also wind proof, but I do wish it had a lanyard, in keeping it from flying off under windy conditions. But there are lanyards you can buy to attach to hats if needed. I also really appreciate the long French Foreign Legion tail on the back of the hat. Definitely keeps rain and sun off the rear of the neck! Sizing is also a great option here! 3 different sizes should cover everyone, even me with my ex-large melon! There is a strap that synches up in the back that makes it a perfect fit! Bottom line, a great outdoor hat that should last years! Happy Trails!!!

I already wrote a review for my first hat. Since this is my second hat, I just wanted to add the headband sweat band is very nice and comfortable. Soft and absorbent.

The hat is light and well made. The bill of the cap is shorter than appears in the promo photos. I would have payed more for a longer bill.

It was smaller than I expected, and the backcloth of lighter material. Also there isn't a strap/string/whatever to hold it in place, in strong wind.

Living in a hot country with a huge, bald head I wear these hats every time I leave the house and now own 5. The only hats I could find l locally were one size fit, all and none of them ever fit me. These offer great protection against the sun and the rain. My only complaint is the colours which are four shades of sludge. It would be nice to see some reds, blues, yellow to break things up a bit.

This is the perfect hat for outdoor work. Allows wearing of a headset to listen to music and keep the noise away. Love having my neck covered!

does what it's supposed to do protect me from sun rays

I have had issues with the skin on the back of my neck being exposed to the sun. This hat is the perfect answer. It blocks the sun from my neck. It is lightweight (lighter than baseball caps I have used in the past). It also has a drawstring to tighten it to provide a perfect fit. It got a little dirty, and I put it in the washing machine and dryer. It came out looking like new. I was afraid that the bill of the cap would be damaged by the water. But, apparently the bill is made of plastic. No damage at all.

Very comfortable and fit is excellent. I've been searching for years for replacements for similar hats as I work outside.

The neck cover is long enough. You can cinch it down well enough to stay put until the wind speed gets above 20 mph. Easy to wash.

I needed a baseball cap with a covering for my neck to use at the pool. It's waterproof, so I can wear it in the pool if I'm just wading. I can put up with my family telling me I look like a dork because I'm protecting my neck from sunburn.
