DryKnit™ Waterproof Merino Wool Beanie with Brim – Fleece Lined Winter Hat

This hat is REALLY warm and protects your ears from the cold too! Like the dark black color. Never had a beanie with brim but like the look and will be wearing this all fall and winter - think it looks cool and definitely comfortable. Fits big heads like mine just fine, not tight at all.

Very warm, perfect for winters in Northwest Ohio! I love the style of this hat with the fold down ear covers and the built in sun shade. The hat fits snug on my head and is very comfortable. I appreciate the fleece lining inside the hat because I am not a big fan of wool up against my skin. This is a top quality hat that is well worth the reasonable asking price.

I. LOVE. THIS. HAT. It’s super cute and stylish and looks great with the hard brim at the front, which sets it apart from other winter hats you might find. The brim is the perfect size to help shield your eyes from falling snow, without being so large as to be awkward. It has a very tightly-knit weave on the outside and the inside is a lining with added material underneath to help capture the warmth you might lose from your head, leading to an overall feeling of cozy comfort when there’s a chill in the air. It’s autumn now, so I’m definitely going to be wearing this one more often when it dips down into the 50’s.

I mostly like this beanie for its comfort and warmth. It is probably the heaviest beanie I've ever had. I was surprised at the heft when I first picked it up. There's 3 layers to this hat. A merino wool blend on the outside and a waterproof liner on the inside. And a fleece inner layer. I ordered the M /L version. It fits my head well but the outer layer seems to be a good bit bigger than the innermost layer. This causes it to look like it's too big. I do have to adjust the folded material down to cover my ears. It is very comfortable and warm. If that warmth and comfort are what you are looking for this is a 10 out of 10. The hat has a waterproof liner sandwiched between the layers. This waterproof layer gives the hat a crinkly sound like there is a grocery bag inside. I took a short video for reference. I do not hear this sound when the hat is on my head and over my ears so it's not really an issue.

Definitely super large head hat!! I have a 8” hat size and a taller dome too! This hat came sized larger than my head!! This thing could definitely fit the largest of heads in it. The xxl cap is not so large that it doesn’t fit my head, it just has room for … hair(? Big beautiful hair?) lol. Anyway, the hat is comfortable and warm and the inside’s fleece lining keeps it nice and cozy. All in all, I recommend this big hat for big heads.

Although I probably won't wear it every day throughout the winter, I'm happy to have it for the occasional, sub-freezing morning walks with the pup. Plus, it beats the heck out of earmuffs! :) I hadn't given the company's name, TOP-EX, much consideration at the time I ordered, so when I unpacked the cap and saw the tag with the company's origin story included, I was curious. What I love about this hat already? The fact that the flaps fold up neatly and are out of the way unless you need them. And when you DO need them? They're perfect for keeping my always-freezing ears nice and toasty. I can hardly wait for it to get colder out now! I would definitely order this product again.

This is very nice looking and seems well made. The polar fleece lining is a nice touch. I would caution that if your head is larger, size up. I am a women and got the medium/large and it is none too big.

Nice hat with cap brim. Expect it to be great for winter weather as I live in a city and walk a lot. However I was surprised that sizing is pretty average - I got the M/L and its a little tight. I think it will be fine after a few wears.

I am glad to get a warm beanie with a brim. I wear beanies in the winter, but if I am doing outdoor sports of any type, I wear a baseball cap underneath to block the sun. That won't be necessary with this cap. I also like merino wool a lot. I have a lot of merino wool garments, and it is kind of a super fabric if you have not experienced it. The hat has a very warm, plush liner. It would be 5 stars, but the hat in person has pleats in the crown that look different than the smooth appearance on the model in the picture. I have another lined beanie, and it looks similar to this. So just know that it is not as smooth looking as in the picture if that is important to you.

It's thick, softer than I expected, and fits great. It will keep your head and ears warm, and the brim will help keep the sun or rain off your fave.

It doesn't get really cold very often here in Alabama, so this beanie is more than enough here. I would buy it again.

My husband runs into the problem during the winter of wanting to wear his ball cap but needing something warm over his ears and head because he is lacking in the hair department. This hat is the best of both worlds, combining baseball cap styling with winter stocking hat warmth. He has a very large head and the L/XL fit him fine without over stretching. The lining is soft and warm without being itchy and the brim provides good protection against the sun. The sides of the hat come down almost all the way to the bottom of his ear so it will do a good job keeping his ears warm during the coldest days. Breaking it down, this hat is the perfect winter hat for bald guys. Period.

I don't find this hat particularly attractive, but who cares about that when you have the warmth and water resistance that this hat provides. I have a very long driveway, and in the winter my ears freeze when I'm snowblowing, but not any more. This hat is double layered, and the sides will come down over your ears to provide great protection in the winter. You'll look like Elmer Fudd wearing this hat, but I don't care if I look like Jabba the Hut if it keeps me warm in the winter! This winter is supposed to be colder and snowier in Michigan, so I'm sure I'll put this to good use. I got the XL version as that is the hat size I normally wear, and it fits great, and has enough room to be able to bring the sides and back down to really keep your ears and neck warm. Highly recommended

Cant wait for the opportunity to keep the sun out of my eyes and keep my head warm! No more baseball hat with stocking cap over it, which is a pain and uncomfortable. 2 for 1! Highly recommend!
