Nice, thick, soft, comfy and large enough to fit over my full set of hair extensions.

I love this beanie! I got it because both my synthetic knitted and pure wool knitted beanies were too itchy. My soft fleece beanies were comfy, but not quite warm enough. This PolarWool fleece lined slouchy beanie uses soft fleece against my skin, but merino wool on the outside. It's super cozy and has plenty of room for my hair. I can even tuck my ponytail inside of it! I love the look of the slouch, and the visor is a great feature. It keeps a lot of the mist off of my glasses on my morning walks.

I got the XL/XXL for my husband. He wears a fitted cap of 7 3/4 and felt the hat was a bit tight and he had to work to get the cap on deep enough to look good. I would say it runs slightly small but not so much it doesn't work.

Nice slouch beanie with brim. Perfect for those days when you need to contain a messy do, a bigger hairstyle, or just want something different. The wool keeps your head nice and warm, your head protected from the elements, and your face shaded if theres a bit of sun out there. The lining feels good and warm. This is a nice alternative to some of my other cold-weather hats and I look forward to wearing it more as the season starts to chill.
