PolarWool™ Satin-Lined Merino Wool Beanie

This is such a soft beanie and my favorite part is that the inside is satin lined!! No more frizzy hat hair. I ordered the olive green color and it looks just like the product photo. It’s been cold at night lately and the hat has done a great job at keeping my head warm. Would definitely buy again in more colors.

Awesome product for larger head people! It's hard to find beanies that aren't totally stretched out by the time it makes it on my head. Also the wool is awesome at drying quick and not smelling. It does run a bit hot though.

My head measures 59 cm, so I ordered the L/XL. The width is as I prefer, but the height is a bit tall, so I rolled the brim higher to reduce the apparent height.
As the hat is made for a generic ideal head, I suppose this is best a factory can produce.
The hat is heavy, due to the tight weave of the fabric. The rolled brim should block out most of winter's wind.
My hats never got a chance to wear out, I just lost them. This hat feels and looks so good, I expect it to make its way to a museum someday.

Fits well

I grabbed a few of these as gifts and I keep getting comments about how great they are. I have my doubts, but I don't wear hats since the accidents, all 4 of them. I'll take their word and pass it along that this hat fits on your head and then performs its function to keep your head warm (or even some bats). I'm leaving some grammar errors on purpose because I don't like their choices.

I gave this cap to my husband who is very pleased with it. He says that it fits comfortably and keeps him warm.

Comfortable and warm. Legitimately large even for my giant head.

I got this beanie for a trip, and it kept my head warm even in single digit temps! The wool was a bit scratchy at first, but after wearing it for a bit, it was fine. It's very stylish, and I liked that it was a bit larger than normal beanies, which let me roll it up for looks or down for warmth as needed. The wool is nice and thick, and the stitching was excellent. Overall, a great purchase!

This wool blend is warmer than typical acrylic beanies. The Med/Large fit my 7 3/4 head just fine. I wouldn't recommend the XL unless you're at least a size 8 hat. Only down side is fuzzies, strings, pet hair, etc. tends to cling easily to the fabric. It attracts these things easily, but it's not difficult to remove : )

Great bold navy color, generous fit, and unbelievably soft for wool!

I always used to joke that I had a cone-shaped head because knit caps would invariably slide up to the top of my head, leaving me looking a bit silly. I was constantly pulling them back down over my ears, which has been a reason I avoided them for pretty much my whole life. Almost always, knit caps seem to come in ��Large�� as their biggest size, but with these caps being offered in an XL �C XXL, they stay in place perfectly even after a few hours of wearing one. Who knew I was wearing the wrong size all these years? The material seems quality, and is not scratchy at all either. Very happy and just ordered three more in different colors.

The hat I ordered was too large for my head. However, it works great when I put my Carhart knit cap on first and then wear this knit cap over it. I ordered the size recommended by the vendor but think they may run a little large.

fit and feel perfect

The title of my review says most of how I feel. The fit is perfect; it's quite soft, and just the right level of warmth for most colder nights. The cap is 100% Merino wool. I really like that. I think that for a cap of this type, it's pretty fashionable, as well. Very good quality. I highly recommend it.

This thing is perfect. I've never put on a single hat and it be the right size but this had is the exception. It's warm without being too warm. It's super soft and feels like good quality. I put it on and it instantly became my favorite hat I've ever had.

I have nothing bad to say about this. It is thick, warm, generously sized, and soft. All of my boys wanted one after seeing this one. It is big enough to fit my son's gargantuan head and still cover his ears.

I have a rather large head and have a problem finding hats that fit. The XL fit great first time I have ever had a knit cap that covers my ears without having to stretch it out.

This hat is a basic piece of your winter wardrobe that actually fits larger heads. The grey is darker, almost a slate color. It is not scratchy and appears to be well made. You can't go wrong with 100% merino wool for warmth.

What else is there to say? Keeps my head warm. The quality is nice and thick. Easily recommended.

I really like Merino wool. It keep you warm without a lot of weight even when wet and does not hold odors. I ordered this TOP-EX cuffed beanie in a medium-large which is size appropriate for my head. It is not tight and feels like it would stretch to fit even a larger head. The beanie is soft and feels good on my head. It is well made and has a ribbed, knitted design. My one concern is that it is not a tight weave, especially between the ribs. You can definitely see light. It is a single layer. This might let wind in on a windy day. Time and use will tell. I do like this beanie. I would recommend it.

This hat is generously sized and fits over my husbands REALLY large head well, coming down to rest just over his ears. I like that this covers his ears because most hats of this style do not. Also, the hat is comfortable. No itching. The fabric does not feel like wool.
I do recommend this hat.
