My first tried it on hurt at my sisters and loved it an ordered one.Just like it cause i've never had a cap that feels that good
I've worn it a number of times to lacrosse and soccer games as the weather has not been the greatest. It kept my head dry and the ear flaps kept my ears warm.
It looks good. I bought it after seeing the Canadians in the Opympic parade wearing something similar. A ball cap with ear flaps looks like what I need in snowy weather.
Appreciate it’s warmth and ear coverage
The perfect cool weather hat.

Okay so this isn’t the most stylish hat on me! But I will say it does make a big difference in the cold weather. It helps block the wind and keep the cold chill of the ears. It is comfortable and super adjustable. A nice change from a beanie look.
The sun protection is just what I needed for the low angle we are to the sun in winter. I had someone help me measure my head carefully for sizing and it is a little big but the adjustment cord helps. I had a chance to test warmth the other day when we had an early cold snap in the 20's with stiff winds. The ear flaps helped a lot but I still had to pull my hood on for extra warmth. Overall I like this hat and would purchase it again!
I have such a hard time with hats because my head is usually big and I get headaches if hats are too tight. I got the L/XL and have zero regrets for this purchase! Very happy!
I owned a similar hat and lost it. Now it is found. This is, in my opinion, the PERFECT hat. Warm but not hot, easy to pack, super cute. Buy it, you won't be sorry! I bought three just in case I loose one.
The hat is too big for someone with a 21 inches head, the smallest size in the size chart shown. I wish they had a size small. It puffs up and doesn't lay flat against my head. Other than that it works well. If this vendor had a smaller size I'd buy it.
I play disc golf all year long in the PNW. We play in every element there is. I wear glasses and have been looking for a good hat to keep me dry and warm. This hat does all that and is super soft snd comfortable. Can't recommend this product enough!
Very comfortable and fits perfectly
Hat fits great and the color is beautiful. I appreciate the nice bill on the cap and the ear flaps will be very helpful in Minnesota this winter.
Love this hat for cold-weather walks.
It feels a bit small, but think it will work. I wanted a brim to prevent rain/snow on eyeglasses and something to cover ears. Will use with a scarf.
This was a great find! It's perfect for walks when the weather is cold and brisk. It's a fitted cap that sits snugly on your head, it has a fleece lining to keep your head warm. There is even a ponytail hole that has a flap to hide if not in use. It also has an adjustable string for a more custom fit. And a reflexive strip to help with safety on evening walks. There is a flap that can be pulled down to help keep your ears warm. This cap is great!
A soft cap that is comfortable, especially with the ear flaps.
Very nice! I love this for daytime cold weather outings. It keeps the snow & sun out of my face better than a beanie. It fits well and can be worn with the earflaps up or down and it looks good either way. I don't usually wear a pony tail, as I have short hair, so I kind of wish it didn't have that feature, but without a pony tail it doesn't gap open badly and with a ponytail it does help.
I love this hat, and it has served me well during the cold months. I love that I can maintain wearing a ponytail while also keeping the back of my lower head and neck warm during my morning walks with my dog. It's been awesome and I like that it protects my ears too!
I like this hat, but it can be hard to get my ponytail through the opening for it.
I love it and I bought another one
At first when I tried this on it was waaay too big for my head, but thankfully I noticed it was easily fixed with the little pull string thing. Now that it fits me better I can say it's comfortable, stretchy and does keep your head warm. I like the ponytail hole it has too. Perfect for when I go to work.
I live where it is very cold and I wear big winter coats and hoods. I like a baseball hat to keep the hood from covering my eyes and keeping out rain or snow when bad weather hits. But baseball hats are not warm. I am always looking for hats like this one with the bill and ear-flaps. I also have long hair and not all hats will accommodate a ponytail or a bun.
This hat is made of a slippery material that is not like a regular baseball hat. I actually am not fond of the stretchy fit. It's awkward to get my ponytail in there, but better than leaving my hair down. There was nothing for the little toggle tightener to do. I think I would have been happier with a looser fit.
I have lost hats in the wind before so this will be my go to hat on windy days.
The brim is more wide than long. I dislike the writing on the hat, but that seems to be the thing everywhere now. It is not lined. It's just that the material is peached on the inside. It is not a separate layer. The flaps have the slippery material on both sides so you don't get the soft peached material on your cold ears, you get the cool slick material.
Overall, better than a baseball hat but with room to improve.
I get earaches in the wind or cold, and this hat has saved me from the pain. I wear it when I walk. The ear flaps aren't too tight, and my earbuds stay in place without being pushed in. Love it!
I like to walk and cycle and this a really perfect hat for that. It's black, so it keeps my head a little warmer by absorbing heat. The bill is not BIG, but it's big enough to keep the sun out of your eyes. The ear covers really go over the ears and keeps the wind off. I also wear glasses and the ear cover does effect it at all - my glasses are still comfortable. There is a hole for a ponytail, but if you dont have a ponytail the slot is unobtrusive. There is a little cincher to adjust the size. I didn't have to use it at all, but admittedly, I do have a big head. It seems very well made, so I'm gonna say this is going to last a long time.
I work outside, and usually in the winter I wear a baseball hat with a fleece hat on top, but that's bulky and rides up constantly. This is a great alternative, to have the option to cover my face/eyes from the sun and rain, while keeping my ears and neck warm. It was a little tight, so make sure you measure your head before ordering, and consider sizing up. Otherwise, very happy.
The fleece hat runs big and the ponytail hole is a bit high so best for high ponytail. I have a big head and the L/XL is actually too large so that's a first.
Super comfortable and warm. Easy to put a beanie on top for more warmth. Keeps the rain off the face and glasses - Will likely also be great for glare when it's bright and snowy out.
Very, very happy with this hat!
This is a nice looking cap. Dark grey looks textured / woven, though is smooth finish polyester. Not as bulky as fleece ear flap brimmed caps. The ear flaps can be folded up into the inside, so it looks closer to a regular "ball" cap when conditions are milder.
I need warmer headgear because I don't have much hair. This cap only has a single layer of fabric, no extra insulation, so I won't be using for extreme cold (< 36F?). On the other hand, will be a great fall or early spring versatile travel cap, where cold winds are a factor (Ireland even in the summer). Particularly like that the pony tail flap is covered, not open, and the fit is adjusted by a drawstring, not a strap adjustment. So there is no cold spot exposed on the back of my head.
I was looking for a hat like this. I wanted a hat to wear in cold weather to cover my ears that had a hole in the back for hair. This is it. A plus is it's also waterproof, water just beads off. I also like you can cinch to better fit your head. Looking forward to use this. Happy with product.
Excellent not only for colder weather, but also sports. Well designed and made of relatively thick and flexible mixture of polyester and spandex that is highly practical to wash. The visor is not very hard, but stiff enough and bent down sufficiently, so its curvature fits well the shape of the forehead it touches.
The black rim inside is made of 1 inch wide elastic and is not prone to show traces of wearing. Narrow fabric stripes cover the dome segment connections inside. They do not stretch and enhance the structural strength. The stitching is solid. The enclosure on the back is made of a thick elastic sting locked by a peg with a push button. Looks better than on the listing photo.
I love that this cap can be worn as an alternative to knitted hats. This cap is not stiff like a typical baseball cap. The material feels more like a very thick pair of yoga pants. It is very soft. The hat is cut in a manner with extra material that covers the ears so it will keep your ears covered and warm. The hat has a reflector on the back, on the adjustable string, and on the lettering on the front.
I was happy to find a hat in size XL. I have a big head and I have had challenges finding hats big enough to comfortably wear. There is a drawstring cord to adjust the snugness of the fit. This hat will be in my regular rotation. I think it can be worn for many seasons although it may be too hot in summer. This hat is also waterproof and would be great to pair with a Gortex? jacket on rainy days. There is also an opening for a ponytail which I appreciate as someone with thick hair who finds it uncomfortable to have my ponytail inside my hat.
I like this hat. The size is good. My head is 23.5" circumference, which is a L/XL size according to their chart. It is a snug fit but not uncomfortable. There is a cord with a toggle to snug it up tighter, but I won't need this as it is already snug enough. Actually, I wish it was just a little bit roomier so I could add in a skull cap on extra cold days. There is enough room for a skull cap now, but it's a little on the tight side and feels slightly comfortable. Maybe it'll stretch out with some wear. If you have a slightly smaller head I think this hat would be perfect. If your head is bigger than 23.5" this might be a little tight for you.
There is a hole in back for a pony tail. I won't be wearing a pony tail (!), but I was concerned this could allow some cold air in. It turns out the hat design has some fabric overlap that blocks any incoming air, so this is not a problem.
Overall, I don't see any negatives. I like it.
