Lucas Cozy Merino Wool Beanie – Fleece Lined Warm Winter Hat for Large Heads

I LOVE the wool hats I have had over the years! But I have lost one and shrunk one, so have also had to replace them and those never seem as nice as what I had. This one is a keeper!
I like wool hats for camping and hiking, especially in the winter when I might start a fire and don't want a hat that will melt when an ember lands on it. I like THIS hat because I get all the benefits of wool on the outside for weather and "ember protection" with a nice soft fleece lining that keeps the price and the itch down. I don't personally have a problem wearing wool, but some are certainly more scratchy than others. This hat is VERY smooth Merino wool according to the label, and I agree based off of the feel.
This is marketed for "big heads" and I ordered the XL/XXL, and it fits great. Doesn't move around or slide off, but not tight at all. A perfect fit! My head measures 23 1/2" (59cm) around at just above my brow.
ALSO! I really like the weight of this hat. Not super thick, more of a medium thick. Great for Fall and Spring too, as well as Winter for me.

Yes, I like this hat and would recommend it to others or buy more as a gift! I think it's a good value for a Merino Wool hat as well.

I live in the mountains and my normal day involves being out in the woods, in the snow and cold. I was lucky enough to have a 4 day blizzard to test the hat out in. I was able to do a full 2.5 hour snow clearing sesh and it kept me warm the whole time. I also did some walks to the gym with temps in the teens and again no worries with warmth. I would say it definitely regulates heat better than your average cotton beanie.

I have a narrow but long head and the M/L fits me well. Style is great as well, pic attached.

This wool hat is so soft and warm. The lining really helps keep your head warm. My family all have big heads and we have all enjoyed wearing it. My one criticism is that it could be a bit deeper, this doesn��t come down over the ears on the two of us with the biggest heads.

I ordered this for my son who works in a very cold environment as well as doing a lot of outdoor activities, alongside the fact that I tumble dried his other Merino wool hat which would now fit a baby.
When ithis hat arrived my first thought was just how soft it felt, its very soft, flexible, thick and having tried it out myself while watching the fireworks for over an hour I can confirm that it is also extremely warm.
I ordered the size L, which I'd say is a good size for an my son who is an average sized young man with an average sized head. There is a good sized turn over on the hat which can be pulled down a bit to cover your ears a bit more if you prefer that and still look like a nice hat.
Altogether its a lovely piece of clothing, high quality, well made, thick, soft and warm, with absolutely no faults or issues that I can see, so I'm very happy to recommend it.

Just returned. I purchased for my husband, but it was too small. The packaging said @Women's XL/XXL��. So the product description doesn��t say Womens so beware.

My adult son has a big head, and all of his wool caps seem to pop up and don't cover his ears. This one is FINALLY fitting him well!

My husband is a large man and his winter hats always seemed a bit small for him. This one is a perfect fit. It looks good, fits him well, and he says it's very comfortable. A win all the way around. Highly recommend!
