This winter baseball cap is well made and practical for cold, wet conditions. I ordered it for my wife and she says this about the hat: “I love this winter baseball cap! It is warm, waterproof, and offers full ear coverage. It fits well and the stretchy fabric is very comfortable. I intend to wear it with my raincoat or hooded winter coat for rain and wet snow conditions. I like the visor for face protection, full ear coverage, pony tail opening that closes with a zipper, and that it is waterproof. This hat fits beautifully right out of the package. The material is soft, flexible, and comfortable enough to wear for long walks. I really like that the ear flaps stay in place they don't ride up or shift around, even when I'm moving a lot while walking my dogs. The ponytail opening is a great feature. The zipper sticks a little, but since I keep it open, it doesn't get in the way.

I've mainly used it on cold and windy days, and it's been exactly what I needed. The brim adjusts without a fight, which I appreciate because some hats take way too much effort to reshape. I haven't tried it in the rain yet, but the material feels like it would repel light moisture, just not heavy downpours.

Overall, it's a warm, practical hat that's easy to wear and does everything I hoped it would for daily dog walks in chilly weather.

This hat is AMAZING. I love it so much. It's breathable, warm, comfortable and so pretty. The visor keeps the sun out of my face and the extended coverage keeps my ears and lower head nice and warm while I'm out walking my pup. It has a zippered opening in the back for my ponytail, which also helps to keep the hat in place in spite of strong, cold Midwestern winds. It's become my new favorite hat for winter, I can't recommend it enough, especially at this price!

The material is great for light rain and snow, and the fleece lining is warm without causing overheating. It's super cute, holds pony tail steady and don't pull hair. It is waterproof and covers ears to keep them very warm. Very nice hat and perfect gift for any occasion.

This hat is actually awesome! It has a zipper for the ponytail to go through and a cinch cord in the back to ensure proper fit. The hat is lined and is marked waterproof. The brim is a bit big but these would actually be something I would consider for my technicians in the field. We do mitigation and restoration and these would be far superior to regular beanies. Bonus reflective striping on hat. Awesome find!

I had never tried one of these style hats before but since I've been working out and having it be so cold outside combined with rain I figured I needed one. I really like that they give the option for different sizing however I highly recommend you measure your head since I was a bit off and ended up with it feeling a bit too big. I thought the string to adjust the size would help but honestly it doesn't really feel like it's making a difference or holding tight enough to even pull it in around my head. The quality feels very good as far the materials softeness and durability. You can most definitely tell that it's a very well constructed hat minus the drawstring. I love the black color since I can wear it with almost anything. The ear flaps make a nice addition and cover my ears perfectly without pulling up or moving around. I never liked the way baseball caps looked on me but this is completely different, I love how it looks with the broad brim. My fiance even complimented his cute he thought I looked which was pretty nice. When they mentioned it was warm I almost expected it to have different material inside but it isn't and somehow it pulls off being so very warm and completely water repellent when I went outside and noticed not a drip coming through. I didn't use the ponytail zipper this time but it's definitely large enough and in just the right spot to have your ponytail be Midway up your head or even a little high. All in all this is a great hat and very much worth the price point.

Update 11/12/2025: I normally add my edits to the end of my reviews, but I decided to put it first today because I think I judged this hat unfairly. I've continued to wear the hat, trying different things out and something clicked today, figuratively speaking. So when I put it on today, I started adjusting here and there and found that the hat cups my ears just like in the picture. It kept the wind and cold away. I still contend that the hat should be a little bigger, and the ears could be a little longer. However, on this try, the hat did everything it claims to and for that reason, I upgraded my three star rating to a four star.

This TOP-EX winter baseball cap feels soft. It's the kind of material that you can FEEL will repel wind and water. Unfortunately, although I went with a Large, the fit was just spot on. For reference, my head is 56 cm which means I should have fit the medium size since it runs up to 57 cm. I chose to go with the large which accommodates 57-59 cm and it fit comfortably snug, not tight. (And before you say it's my hair, to my resentment, I have fine hair.)

I am hoping that it will stretch a bit after wearing it. I'm excited to wear it because I've been looking for a trapper hat that I liked, and this fits the bill. (No pun intended.)

11/06/2025 edit: I may have put the hat on the first time without pulling my hair out the back OR it stretched because it feels looser. Unfortunately, if you tighten the cord on the back, it bunches the hat kind of funny. Pulling in the cord also raises the ear flaps higher and they don't quite cover your ears fully. Yesterday turned out to be pretty windy and I thought it was the perfect time to try it out. Unfortunately, the wind whipped up under the ear flaps, making them useless to me despite my small ears. Additionally, I expected it to be warmer because of the fleece, but it wasn't. This hat might be better for a rainy spring/summer day, but not for fall/winter. The brim, however, does reflect really well at night.
