This hat feels like you are getting a warm hug around your head. This hat is very very nice, it is soft, warm, it hugs your head so no cold air can bother your ears. The material it is made out of is like wool, but not wool, warm but not to warm. The beanie style along with the useful visor of a regular base ball cap makes this hat ideal when you are outside during the cold weather. The hat is lined with a very soft velvet looking material, so it won't make your head itch or get to hot if you are doing something strenuous like shoveling snow. I love the color, the olive green, this color will go with almost anything. The hat is very well made, it feels and looks like a quality garment, if you told me this was from a fancy label I would believe it. The only tiny tiny detail that does look a bit cheap is the tiny bit of leather on the front that is the tag label, get rid of that and you have a perfect 10 out of 10 hat for the colder months. I love this hat, looking forward to wearing it this winter. UPDATE: I have been wearing this cap out in the cold weather and I am happy to report that it keeps my head wonderfully warm and cozy. This hat is beautiful to wear, it is soft and it looks and feels as nice as you would expect. It is an excellent hat for the cold weather, grab yours today, you will be delighted by it.

I am female and wore this in Iceland (40-50 degrees) . Was perfect for cold rainy days/ waterfall visiting. Kept my head perfectly warm, the spray out of my eyes and dried super fast. Hair didn��t get wet due to inner waterproof liner.

I bought this hat for my husband to take on an Alaska fishing trip. It rained the entire time he was there and the hat kept him dry and warm. The fit was perfect.

This hat performed really well skiing. In fact, I got pretty warm and had to unzip my jacket a little. Does seem waterproof although I was sweating so a little unsure. Love the visor for down coming snow cover and was able to pull over my ears.

I am a big guy with a big head I got the xxl and it fits good,the quality seems to be good,I have seen a few reviews saying that they are too big, my only guess is that they got the wrong size,I do recommend measuring your head before ordering.

Nice hat for the money. Cap part is deep with plenty of room for someone with lots of hair that they might want to tuck up. I was close to the upper measurement of a large so I went with the extra large and fit is good. Hat is warm but haven't tested waterproofed yet.

Like it a lot. Comfortable, fits well, and keeps the ears warm (and out of the sun) without goofy ear flaps. The "bill" shades the face and keeps my eye glasses dry. The arms of my eye glasses fit comfortably under the hat too. It's well made. Measure your head size for best fit. I was at the top limit of a size, so I ordered the next size up. I'd recommend doing that. It fits firmly on the head and is not going to blow off.

I love this hat so much! It is very comfortable and very warm. I hate cold weather but this hat helps keep me a little bit warmer. It's very cozy - like a hug for my head. I also appreciate the brim. Feels like it's very well-made as well.
