I have used this item for a couple of days now and it keeps my head warm even on chilly mornings. The fleece lining feels soft and comfortable. The ear flaps are a nice touch and really help block the wind. I noticed it makes a big difference when I'm outside for longer walks. The material feels strong and well made. It doesn't itch like some wool hats l've had before. The only thing is it can feel a little snug at first. After wearing it a few times it stretched out a bit and felt better. I am definitely looking forward to fully trying out during winter. Overall, this hat has been great for staying warm and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone needing a solid winter beanie.
If your head is on the larger size like mine, you already know you're gambling when you buy one size fits all. This hat lives up to the size claim - first hat like this that I have ever had that had plenty of room! It's maybe even a little big for my 60cm head. It's soft and warm. There is a liner inside so there are extra layers to trap heat. I did not like the faux fur around the edge. Doesn't look as good in real life. But the hat still looks pretty good, and the important thing - keeping warm
I spotted this fleece-lined hat with ear flaps from Top-Ex and wanted to give it a try. I have Raynauds Syndrome and do all I can to stay warm. This looked to be a little better for fully covering my ears than the traditional winter hat. This is nice and comfortable and did a great job keeping my head warm. I used it on a fall campout while sleeping and in the early/late hours when it was chilly. It was breathable. It did fine going through a cold wash in the washing machine. I didn't get to test it in wet weather yet, so I can't speak to the waterproof-ness. I don't plan on wearing this in rain--snow maybe and expect it would do fine. I'm very happy with this. I got the medium-large and it fits my average-sized head comfortably.
My spouse recently started shaving his head so I got this for him for the winter to keep his dome warm. He's been wearing it around the house for fun because he likes it so much. He says it's soft on his head (which is still sensitive now that he has no hair) and feels cozy. The ear flaps go down nice and low to fully cover them. I like that. We got him the size medium, for what that's worth to you for sizing. The medium fully covers from the nape of his neck to his eyebrows and is nicely snug without being tight at all. I picked the green color so I could steal it from him occasionally, or just in case he didn't like it I would adopt it. I think it'll get lots of use no matter what. At $20 it's a reasonable buy. I'll update this review if in the coming winter weather the hat proves not to be warm enough or not water resiliant.
I got this because I am always on the lookout for winter hats that actually fit a larger head size. Most hats run small on me, so when I saw this one was made with larger sizing, it stood out. When I opened it, there was no odd smell, and the hat felt soft inside and out. The stitching looked neat, and the ear flaps were short but long enough to fully cover the ears. When I tried it on, it fit exactly as I hoped. The fleece lining felt warm and soft against my skin, and the ear flaps stayed in place without riding up. It did not feel too tight or loose, and it stayed in place while just moving around. I wore it for a while outdoors for a bit, and it was comfortable the whole time. I gave this 5 stars because it met all of my expectations. It is large enough to fit comfortably, warm with its fleece lining, and the ear flaps, while smaller, do their job. At $19.99, I think the value is right in line with a good quality beanie made for larger sizes.

I got this beanie hat with ear flaps for my husband in the medium/large size, and it was a great pick. I chose the army green since thats his favorite color, and it looks really nice in person. The hat itself is attractive, incredibly soft, and has a great fit. I really like the style, and it will be perfect for keeping him warm and comfortable in the colder weather.
The TOP?EX DryKnit? Waterproof Fleece-Lined Beanie with Ear Flaps is a great blend of functionality and comfort for cold-weather wear. Made with merino wool, it provides excellent insulation while remaining breathable, so your head stays warm without overheating. The waterproof DryKnit? layer adds reliable protection against snow and light rain, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking or commuting in winter. The soft fleece lining feels cozy against the skin, and the ear flaps offer extra warmth where it counts most. Its a practical, high-performance hat that doesnt sacrifice comfort or style.
Another solid from this brand. Ive been getting lots of Top-Ex products because nothing mainstream fits. Looks exactly as described and fits like a dream for my XXL head. The built-in ear warmers are a nice touchsaves me from having to stretch the sides down like I obsessively do for my other beanies. Solid weight and build. Inner lining is warm, cozy, and resists water. Not sure how useful wool is for the outer layer, but it does look nice. Clean stitching throughout. Im very happy with this product.
The fleece lining provides a soft, cozy layer while the waterproof outer material keeps rain and snow from soaking through. I value the ear flaps for extra coverage, which makes it ideal for outdoor activities in harsh weather. It stays securely in place and feels durable enough for regular use.
This should be more than enough to keep my husband's head warm this winter while he does farm chores. The winter always brings a near constant wind down the valley that makes everything that much colder and the protection this beanie gives with its fuzzy ear flaps will be nice. The outer fuzzy band isn't as fuzzy as I expected, but that's a plus because it means he's more likely to actually wear it. The beanie looks well made overall, but especially the wool knit on the outside. It has a fleece lining that most beanies don't have which adds more warmth. I'd call this more water resistant than waterproof, but the double layer will help keep snow from melting and soaking in if you're outside for extended periods. This is a great piece of cold weather gear.
Really warm and comfortable. Will use this on a winter trip this winter so can truly put it to the test then. But nice quality, seems very well made and has a great look.
this is a nice hat and a good value. Specifics
Pros
Mostly fits well and as expected. I'd say maybe slightly snug but it does stretch out a bit so not a real issue
the ear flaps are full flaps, covering my entire ears (one of my pet peeves are flaps that stop half-way down)
nicely warm
the interior is comfortable
cons
none really. Personally, I'd prefer if the outer fleece were less prominent, took up less space, but that's just a personal preference
good winter hat, comfortable, fits well, warm, good value
