DryLoop™ PonyStyle Neck Protective Cap

We spend a lot of time on the lake fishing. This keeps the sun off the back of my neck and ears. It's made out of a light material that feels waterproof. Very comfortable. When used with a ponytail it helps keep the hat in place. This helps keep the wind and sun at bay. It has a generous sized bill, but not big enough to interfere with my fishing.

I got a pink size large hat. This hat made a significant difference while gardening outside. The sun wasn't as bothersome as it usually is when hitting the skin directly. The back side feels light and airy when worn. The front covers most of my face. It comes with an adjustable cord that helps tighten it around the head and a hole for a ponytail, which is also a major plus. I wore it for about 6 hours and not once did it fall off. This is definitely a must-have for sun protection.

I ordered this hat for working outside during the summer. The fabric feels so nice and soft. It feels like it will dry very fast if it gets wet or sweaty. I love that it has a slit for your ponytail so I can keep my hair up off of my neck while I wear it. I love that it comes in sizes, because sometimes I have a hard time finding a hat that is the correct size. I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly. I also really like that it has a bungee and toggle to adjust the tightness. I'm looking forward to warm weather so I can wear it!

This hat is a lifesaver on those scorching Texas days! The neck flap is long enough to cover my neck without getting in the way. I tried folding the flap and tucking it in, but it just didn’t work as planned. If you don’t want a flap, just get a regular cap without one. When I tried tucking in the flap, it was bulky and wouldn’t stay in place. My head is on the small end of the large size, and the hat fit me well. The adjustable elastic cord worked, but it’s not as comfortable as a hat with Velcro. Other than that, it’s a great price and provides good coverage in the sun. I’m excited to wear it playing tennis during the summer months!

This might seem a bit pricey for what it is, but I'm very pleased with the sun coverage and the materials of this hat. I do a lot of work in the garden in the summer and it gets so blistering hot where I am, without any shade, so I am always looking for ways to stay cool without having to reapply sunscreen on long working days. This pleasantly fits my hair, and if you have a lot of hair, you know the ponytail holders can vary wildly in size. This one is large enough to fit a but comfortably. I also like the stretchy drawstring for customizing the fit, and the fabric is lightweight and I like the pink. Overall, if I'm able to get 2 seasons' wear out of this, I would consider it a great price.

Very cute and functional cap! Really love the color. It is listed as Beige but looks more like Cream or Very Light Yellow. I have a smaller sized head and with the medium it would work for medium or large heads because of the adjustable elastic strap that would work for a variety of sizes. the brim and sides do a great job of protecting from the sun and the material breathes to keep you cool. The cap has the ponytail hole for those with long hair which is a plus. Perfect for working in the garden or yard, hiking, and other outdoor activities where you need sun protection. I am very happy with this cap and can certainly recommend.

Love the ponytail opening has plenty of coverage for your neckline and ears, really lightweight material, very comfortable to wear.

I won't be wearing this while I shop, even at Wal-Mart. But for working in the garden, it will be very useful and functional. Lightweight, dries fast. Covers your head AND neck area, which is important.

It's not as well-constructed as some of the brand name garden hats, but it also doesn't cost as much. Lightweight and thin enough to tuck into your garden apron pocket. But, it's definitely NOT a hot fashion item, so leave it at home when you go out.

I got this hat in a large because I got a big noggin! The hat fits good, it has a hole on the top for your ponytail/bun and it has like a drawstring in the the back to easily and quickly pull it tighter if needed. I do like the option to make the hat tighter quickly because when it gets windy, my hat would fly away.
I got the dark blue which is a nice color and the flaps don't cover the whole side of my face, which is fine and I don't really think its supposed... anyway... the flap does cover my neck and ears very well. The best thing about this hat, is it's UPF50 - which means that it's is blocking 98% of the sun's rays - hooray!! It is a super lightweight hat and the fabric does feel like it would be water resistant.
I'm happy to have this hat because it's almost gardening time, and I will be to using this hat on the daily!

This is the perfect accessory, just in time for warmer weather outdoors. It provides the necessary coverage for my face, neck and shoulders. It's lightweight and doesnt trap heat as easily as other caps. I do wish the logo was located in the back, but it's acceptable on the lower left, above the brim, because the logo is gray and looks generic.

So, I measured my head and got a size small, and it fits perfectly.

My ponytail hangs out the back. My ears are covered. My neck is protected from the sun. The brim gives good shade.

This looks and feels well made. I got this for gardening and other yard work, but I would imagine it would be great at Florida theme parks in the summer, and other travel locations when you suspect you'll be sunburned. It packs flat and is very light weight.

This product looks exactly as advertised. Purchased the size small and definitely fit a size small head. If you need it to be smaller, then there is an adjustable strap at the back of the cap. This cap had a label that stated it was a size "S/M", but this is definitely not meant for a medium sized head. I would highly recommend to measure your head before purchase because this was a snug fit on my normally sized small head. Follow the sizing chart provided in the listing. The hole in the back of this cap is large enough to reach your hand in and pull your long hair out into a ponytail without you needing an elastic hairband. It exposes a decent amount of hair to the sun, so if you have thin hair, the sunlight and heat might make the back of your head/hair feel hot. The material feels thin and airy, similar to a windbreaker jacket. The long pieces that fall down from the cap is able to cover most of the neck from intense sunlight, but didn't feel completely comfortable. Perhaps this is why the girl in the advertisement's photo is wearing a high neck jacket. Otherwise, this product works as intended, is waterproof, cool and airy. Works great for hiking days.

It's been difficult to find a suitable light-colored, SPF-50 cap that meets my requirements: Sufficient baseball-style brim, made from lightweight fabric for the tropical Gulf of Mexico heat, an adjustable headband cinch for the wind, and also hand washable. This fits the bill perfectly.

I really love this hat. Being able to slide my ponytail out through the slit is a godsend and it really doesn't mess my hair up at all, even taking it off and putting it on again a few times.

The brim is nice and firm and overall I like the construction of this hat. The color is also true to the photos.

I do wish that the sun cover portion had a little more weighted trim or something at that bottom edge so that it will stay in place better but I'm truly grateful for the sun coverage.

The hat is just as pictured, and the pink color is true to form. The hat seems to be well-constructed and well-designed. Our small-headed mid-teen daughter got a small, and it is tight (fully adjusted out), and she might get one summer out of it before we pass it on to another younger person. We would have been far better off getting the medium. If I were to get one for myself (normal adult male), I'd definitely get the largest available ... I'd get a large if I were any average-sized adult and cinch down with the drawstring.

While we are in AZ and in a notable drought this winter, I ran it under the sink, and it is clearly water-resistant (perhaps proof). The back Lawrence of Arabia design element is appealing to us as, during summer months around here, the long hair tends to go into a ponytail, and thus, the back of the neck can be less protected. The ponytail hole was higher than my kid anticipated, but it's manageable. Also, note that the back flap is NOT removable, as is the case with some of our other (more expensive) sun hats with a similar design.

We own a lot of sun hats ... Arizona and all... and the kids and I keep coming back to designs such as this one. My wife prefers the larger round-brimmed ones (more sensitive skin). If this style of hat is on your list for summer sun and light rain protection, it's absolutely great.

True to size - I ordered based on the baseball cap size I wear. It does have an adjustable band just in case you need it a bit more snug. Nice light fabric, water resistant and very comfortable. It lets me keep my hair up and off my neck, and also offers full protection over my neck so I don't have to use sunscreen there during yardwork. I'm excited to use this in Florida summer while I do yardwork.

This hat offers great sun protection, plus it's cute! The ponytail opening can accommodate a high or regular ponytail. The hat is indeed lightweight and the fabric is breathable. I ordered a medium and I felt the size chart was accurate.

Nice hat for sun protection, definitely gives off archeologist vibes. The neck cover rolls up into the hat so you don't have to always have it deployed but it's there when ya need it.

Great sun hat! I live in a very hot and sunny area, so this will be great for gardening to protect my neck, face and ears. It's also great that there is space for a ponytail.

So there you are in the great outdoors when some bug decides it wants to fly right into your ear. You do this neck head jerking thing all in a panic. Only to have your face and neck burned by the sun. But life is all good again with this hat combo. The medium size fits just a bit loose on my fat 22 inch head. The flaps come down and cover the ears and back of the neck. There is a small cut out in the top back of the hat to pull your ponytail through. The fabric is a light weight cotton like you would find on a handkerchief.

This hat has it all. Comfortable. Good color (dark blue). Easy to adjust the cap size. Perfect for hiking, golfing, kayaking, landscaping, gardening, and any outdoor activity where you need to protect the top and sides of your head from the sun. Lightweight too. And if you don't have a ponytail, don't worry because the hole for the ponytail is very subtle and hardly noticeable. The bill of the cap is normal size - like a baseball cap - and isn't one of those huge cap bills that sometimes come with a hat like this. A lot of common sense went into this hat design. I highly recommend it.
