Light & comfortable, this hat fits & provides coverage for my neck. I was originally planning to buy the XXL size, but read in the reviews that the hat runs big. It's true. Also, the chinstrap is detachable. Highly recommend

Blocked sun

Great hat purchased for my son. He owns a lawn cutting business and needs good sun protection. He said the hat is so comfortable to wear all day. The hat is lightweight and waterproof ?? Great purchase.

My husband always sunburned his head and neck working outside in summer and we��re in our 30��s now and I��ve had enough. I bought this somewhat silly looking hat and now sunburns are over! It��s breathable, lightweight, and easy to wash. We had to laugh though when he had a guy in his 60��s show up in the same hat�� well it may not be cool but it works. Highly recommend.

My husband recently started cleaning pools. This hat is perfect! He is a bigger and taller guy and has a larger head, so we needed a bigger hat. It does great at protecting his face and neck.

Fits well! Has drawstrings to make it a little more snug. I usually wear XL hats and the L/XL was a tad big but I snugged it up and it fits nice now. Indeed is waterproof. Super light but durable.

Like some of the other reviewers, I have trouble finding hats that suit me. I actually have to tighten this one down a bit. The brim holds firm even when I'm running the boat at speed. Great hat.

Don't worry if comes folded over, it loses the crease soon.

Maybe not my favorite looking hat, but functionally, your head will not burn and stay cool. Definitely does it's job well.

Always a challenge for me to find cooling hats large enough to fit me. No more this hat fits perfectly I bought the XL and I normally wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat. This one sits comfortably on my head and is very lightweight. The additional neck protection will help while working outside or relaxing at the pool. The price is also way better than some of the popular brands I have tried. I will definitely be ordering a few more to wear.

My husband needs a larger size (I tell him his brain is too big) and this does a good job. The neck flap is important for working outside.

I went to the desert this spring and needed to keep the sun off my bald head and neck. This did the job! Stayed on in the wind, kept the sun off, and was pretty comfortable.

I sweat in the heat, and while this stayed pretty cool, it wasn't always able to keep up with my sweat. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

I like the color and fabric, and it fit me pretty well.

I have a big head and this size is ample, plus some. It has a big sturdy elastic pull cord to adjust the size. It washes nicely in the machine, and the brim is adequately wide to block the Texas sun.

My husband has a large head, and most hats don't fit him. He wanted a hat with a neck flap, and I ordered this one because it was actually available in a larger size. It fits him, and is actually a little bit too big - but he's keeping it. He loves the lightweight material, and the sun protection. It would be nice though if the hat had a more absorbent bit that goes over the forehead -- my husband said sweat was dripping down his forehead because the polyester didn't absorb well.

This covers the head and neck very well and has a handy drawstring. I feel a little ridiculous wearing it, so don't use it for my daily walks around town, but it's handy for a hike.
