Wool Fleece Earflap Baseball Cap – Warm Winter Hat

Very nice winter hat I love the ear flaps and the fact that this has a brim. I have another hat that has flaps, but it doesn't stay up as easily as this one, and it doesn't have a brim. I'm finding that having a brim is so much nicer to help with the sun and snow. First, this hat does run a bit big, so like others have said, maybe order a size down. I've got what people typically call a "big head" which is what these hats are made for! However, I ordered the XL, which without the flaps down is slightly too big. So I should have ordered the Large size. Which even if it was a bit small, would have been fine. You can see in photos, that it has a small elastic band in the back to give it a bit of stretch if need be. I say that, however, when I put the flaps down, they fit perfectly over my head and make the hat look like it fits better. The snaps are nice and snug. With 4 snaps, I don't think the strongest Alaskan wind could blow this off of my head! Nice material to cover the ears. I am slightly concerned with the top of the head. you can feel that there is SOME insulation there, but it doesn't feel like it'll be enough in blow freezing temps like I have here. However Time will tell. If it doesn't, I'll come back here and update.

It fits, it's well made has a good weight to it and it's slightly green. Not as green as the advertised pictures but more subtle which I like better. Very satisfied with this purchased.

Excellent cap. My Dad who is 83 loves this to keep him warm going in and out all day. Looks nice enough to wear anywhere but serves it's real purpose of retaining heat exactly as described. Highly recommend this cap!!

Too big. Would like to exchange it for a smaller size.

I wanted a winter hat that had a brim so I can wear my glasses when I go outside in the winter when it is snowing and not have my glasses get wet. The flaps are soft and thick and keep my ears very warm. There are three snap settings for tightening at the neck or when you snap the flaps up out of the way. Very well made.

I walk around 4 miles a day. During the summer I wear a cap to keep the sun out of my eyes, during the winter I previously wore a sock hat.. but then had the sun in my eyes.
I'm THRILLED with this cap, it's so flexible for my needs so I can keep my steps up this winter. It's super comfy and I love that the earflaps come down.
My wife saw it an immediately quoted a Christmas classic. LOVE the hat.

Review by Mary: This review is for the "TOP-EX Oversized XL/XXL Unisex Wool Blend Winter Trapper Hat Baseball Cap Fleece Earflaps Fleece Lined", in the color Army Green (fleece).

This hat is so cool; the earflaps can be secured on the top, when not needed (pics 1-3). The fleece is dyed to match the hat material & is soft & cozy. There are 4 snaps on the straps & they are sturdy; the straps should fit most everyone �C whether on the top of the head or under the chin. The outer sides of the earflaps are of the same material as the hat (pic 4); there is a sweatband & a bit of elastic on the underside (pic 5). The materials used feels/seem very high-end; this hat was made to last.

I work night shifts doing snow removal in a very windy, cold climate where it regularly reaches -50�� F with wind chill. A warm hat is a must in these conditions! I decided I needed a new one for the upcoming season, and gave this one a try. I put it on and was sweating within a minute! It fits snugly over my hair (I have a lot of it) and the flaps over my ears sit flush and create a great wind blocker. I'm looking forward to putting it to the test in a few months

We've got a couple of family members with large heads. The one size fits all hats don't work for them. They put them on and they look funny, not to mention uncomfortable.

So I finally got smart and ordered hats that have the option to order XL.

This one has the added bonus of the ear flaps for cold days. It's one thing to keep your head warm, but when the wind is blowing those poor ears are left out in the cold.
This allows the fun of a baseball cap but the warmth of a winter hat.

This hat is nice and warm. The ear flaps are a great addition. The color is true to the photo. It is oversized like it says, so you might need to size down.

I've been looking far and wide for a trapper hat in this style that would work even with slightly warmer weather. Most of the ones I've seen had some fluffy faux fur that covered the entire surface. There's nothing wrong with that but as someone who gets hotter and sweatier than most, that was a plus. There is some faux fur on the ears but it is much thinner than what I've seen online.

The style is really unique. It has that sort of classic tweed look but the earpad parts give it a bit of edge.
